Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and theater. Her career began as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing more than 20 musicals and plays. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly was also able to land the roles in television and film, and pursuing her improv training in The Groundlings. A unique combination of her voice and her petite stature made it possible for Kelly to develop many different characters. She was known to the people for her character of the villainous Samara as Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But her most well-known role is for her bright and cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a regular on TV the sitcom of Land The Exes between 2011 and 2015. The show featured Kelly as a paralegal during the day, and a party hopper at night. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her singing soprano has been lent to several animated cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was seen as the dim but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She has a peaceful private life, with her husband and two young children and enjoys sewing writing and volunteering at school activities.
