Her character as Ashley Banks in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is her most well-known. At the age of four she began singing, and was soon able to get some attention when she asked her mom to send her to Sesame Street auditions. As a 6-year old she began acting as a child actor on the Sesame street's educational television program. She was a part of numerous Broadway productions that were staged in New York City, including Fences (with James Earl Jones, later Billy Dee Williams) and Orfeo del Campo (off-Broadway). Seven years ago, she was the winner of Star Search. She received the rating of four stars after returning for another time.
