Leighton Meester, an American actor, model and singer and musician, is an multi-talented talent. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." She started her acting career as a kid. She began acting as a young girl performing in local productions from "Wizard of Oz." Her interest in the field began to grow. She began working by acting in commercials and modeling. For modeling work, she's been associated with major brands including 'Herbal Essentials as well as Vera Wang and Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren. While she began modeling as a model, she later began acting too. Her career began by modeling, but then transitioned into acting.
